Hymns for 11 AM Mass, Sunday, October 17, 2021

Entrance Hymn: The King of Love Thy Shepherd Is
The King of love my Shepherd is,
Whose goodness fails me never;
I nothing lack if I am his,
And he is mine forever.

Where streams of living water flow
With gentle care he leads me,
And where the verdant pastures grow
With heavenly food he feeds me.

Perverse and foolish I have strayed,
But yet in love he sought me,
And on his shoulder gently laid,
And home, rejoicing, brought me.

In death's dark vale I fear no ill
With thee, dear Lord, beside me;
Your rod and staff my comfort still,
Your cross before to guide me.

Psalm: Lord, let Your mercy be on us, as we place our trust in You

Offertory: There is a Balm in Gilead
There is a balm, in Gilead
To make the wounded whole
There is a balm, in Gilead
To save the sin-sick soul

1. Sometimes I feel discouraged,
and think my work's in vain,
but then the Holy Spirit
revives my soul again.

2. If you cannot preach like Peter,
if you cannot pray like Paul,
you can tell the love of Jesus,
and say “He died for all.”

3. Don't ever feel discouraged,
for Jesus is your friend,
and if you lack for knowledge,
He’ll ne’er refuse to lend.

Communion: At the Cross (Tomlin)
There’s a place where mercy reigns and never dies
There’s a place where streams of grace flow deep and wide
Where all the love I’ve ever found
Comes like a flood, Comes flowing down

At the cross, at the cross -- I surrender my life
I'm in awe of You -- I'm in awe of You
Where Your love ran red -- And my sin washed white
I owe all to You -- I owe all to You, Jesus

There’s a place where sin and shame are powerless
Where my heart has peace with God, And forgiveness
Where all the love I’ve ever found
Comes like a flood, Comes flowing down

Here my hope is found, Here on holy ground, Here I bow down, Here I bow down
Here arms open wide, Here You save my life, Here I bow down, Here I bow down

Let Nothing Disturb You
Let nothing disturb you
Let nothing make you afraid
All things are passing
God alone will not change
Patience will gain all things
If you have God, you’ll want for nothing
God alone, God alone, will suffice

Closing Hymn: Amazing Grace
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind but now I see.

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come;
‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
